VIDEO: Houston Astros Wrap Spring Training For First Game Saturday

(West Palm Beach, FL) -- The Astros are continuing spring training in West Palm Beach, where full-squad workouts started on Monday. The 'Stros are gearing up to try to win the World Series again, as they did in 2017.

Jose Altuve is with the team, fully recovered from surgery that dealt with knee problems that troubled him through the 2018 season. The Astros start their spring games on Saturday against the Washington Nationals.

The Astros will use spring training to find out who will be their fifth starter to open the season.

The leading candidates include top pitching prospect Forrest Whitley, Josh James and lefty Framber Valdez.

The Astros will continue their workouts today in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Houston's first game is Saturday against the Nationals.
