(Honolulu, HI) -- An East Honolulu preschool is taking a hard look at snacktime procedures. Three children were served Pine Sol this week instead of apple juice at Kilohana United Methodist Church, taking several sips before the mistake was noticed.
Hawaii News Now reports that the state Health Department found a classroom assistant poured up the drinks, even though they were in a clearly labeled Pine Sol bottle.
Paramedics were called in, but no children showed any signs of illness and were not taken to a hospital. The preschool sent a letter to parents, calling the incident unfortunate.
