(San Diego, CA) -- A busy border crossing is now reopened in southern California after migrants rushed the U.S. port of entry from Tijuana, Mexico, on Sunday. Hundreds of Central Americans broke through a Mexican police blockade and ran across the Tijuana River near El Chaparral.
The Border Patrol says some tried to breach the fence, as a result of which the United States closed the port of entry at San Ysidro, California, for several hours.
