Astros host Red Sox in Game Three of ALCS today

After earning a split of the first two games of the American League Championship Series over the weekend in Boston, the scene shifts to Minute Maid Park for the next three games, with Game Three of the series coming up this afternoon.

The defending World Series Champions will give the start to Dallas Keuchel, who says he’s ready to give the home crowd everything he’s got.

“Anytime you get to play at home it’s a special feeling,” Keuchel said.

The Red Sox counter with Houston native Nathan Eovaldi. Getting a split at Fenway was something that didn’t surprise Astros manager A.J. Hinch in the least.

“We’re a good team. We play well in the post-season. We lock in,” Hinch said.

If you’re going to the game this afternoon, get ready to shell out some big bucks in terms of parking. Prices could be double what you are used to paying. And the closer you park to Minute Maid, the higher those prices are going to be.

That’s just one reason why Metro is beefing things up ahead of the game.

“There will be additional trains that are added that would be more of a typical evening,” Metro spokesperson Laura Whitley told KTRH.

And ride sharing services like Uber are offering deals as well. Riders can use promo code "NEVERSETTLE" which is valid for two rides up to $10 to and from Minute Maid Park. Uber spokesman Travis Considine says they expect a “significant” increase in their trip numbers this week.

Gametime at Minute Maid Park is set for 4:09pm. Coverage starts at 2 o’clock this afternoon on Sports Talk 790.
