Bookseller Barnes and Noble says political books are flying off the shelves this year, sales 57% higher than they were last year.
Fox News Host Tucker Carlson has claimed the number one spot on the New York Times best-seller list with his book, “Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution.”
That has kicked legendary journalist Bob Woodward’s “Fear” from the top spot, which had sold at a rate of more than one copy per second when it was first released.
Carlson thanked fans on Twitter: "A huge THANK YOU to all of the viewers and fans who bought my new book #ShipOfFools," Carlson wrote. "Because of you, I just found out that it’s #1 on the @nytimes best sellers list. Thank you all very much."
