Police look for person behind dog killing

Police are looking for help in finding the person responsible for killing a dog with a bow and arrow.

The dog was found with the arrow shot through its body on Sunday. Earlier this morning Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said whoever did needs to be put behind bars.

“This is a dangerous and twisted individual. That’s the only way to describe someone who would aim a bow and arrow at a defenseless dog, draw back the string, and launch an arrow into someone else’s pet,” Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez also said whoever did this continues to present a danger to everyone.

“It was a sadistic act of violence, possibly committed by a deeply disturbed individual who likely poses a continued threat to our community,” he explained.

Officials have increased the reward for people who have information leading to identifying the person who did this to 7,500 dollars.
