Southwest Airlines launched one of their twice-a-year 72-hour sales this morning, with one-way fares as low as $49 on some short routes.
Tickets on select longer flights have been reduced to $79, $99 and $129.
The promotional fares are primarily for domestic travel on non-stop flights between Nov. 28 and Dec. 19 this year and from Jan. 3-Feb. 13, 2019.
Travel on Fridays and Sundays does not qualify for the promotion, and there are other limitations.
