HOUSTON, Texas --
A suspicious package is being investigated at Phoenix Tower, mail was received by Sen. Ted Cruz's office, located at 3200 Southwest Freeway. Houston Fire Department and Hazmat teams are on the scene. According to HFD, two people were taken to a hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance.
Officials say the 9th floor has been evacuated and the elevators have been turned off as a precaution.The investigation is ongoing.
