(Houston, TX) -- Houston City Council has amended the city ordinance regulating sexually oriented businesses in order to keep a robot brothel from opening.
A Canadian company called Kinky Dolls wanted to allow customers to have sex with dolls for money. A city building inspector last week ordered a halt to some work being done at the brothel's proposed site, a building on Richmond at Chimney Rock.
Today, as anticipated, the City applied the new wording that specified adjustments under the “Adult Arcade and Adult Mini-Theaters” ordinance. It will include in part quote: “Arcade device shall also mean an anthropomorphic device or object that is utilized for entertainment with one or more persons.”
