Girls suspect couple met at Walmart were involved in human trafficking

Two girls doing some late-night shopping Saturday at a San Angelo Walmart say they were approached by strangers who they believe might have been part of a sex-trafficking scheme.

The girls told KIDY-TV a couple approached them inside the store at about 10:30 or 11 p.m. and invited them to a Bible study.

The girls say the couple had an empty shopping basket they were pushing around the store. One of the girls Googled some of the information the couple provided during the conversation, and "… the first article that came up said 'Korean sex trafficking college campuses.'"

The girls found a store manager and pointed out the couple. The man reportedly told the manager they were just trying to share the message about the "Good Lord Jesus."
