(Washington, D.C.) -- Ted Cruz is not coming to El Paso this week as scheduled. The Cruz campaign says the U.S. Senator from Houston is staying in Washington, D.C. to be part of the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.
He had planned to bring his re-election campaign to El Paso with an appearance at the Sportsman's Elite store on Doniphan Drive this afternoon at 3 p.m. The Senator is expected to reschedule the visit.
