VIDEO: Teen Starts Nonprofit To Share Christmas With Other Foster Kids

(Houston, TX)  --  A 13-year-old from Houston has started a nonprofit that she hopes will give Christmas joy to hundreds of her fellow foster children.  Kirstyn Jackson was a foster child who ended up living with her grandmother.

Several years ago, Texans player Jon Weeks and his wife Amanda took Kirstyn and several other foster kids on a Christmas shopping spree.

At age ten, Kirstyn and her grandmother created Kirstyn's Krew, a nonprofit that gives hundreds of foster children 200-dollars each to spend on whatever they want for Christmas.
