VIDEO: Rat pulls fire alarm, forces evacuation in D.C.

(Washington, DC)  --  Surveillance video is answering the question of who pulled the fire alarm at a DC condo building last summer.  It was a rat.  Video posted by NBC Washington shows a rat leaping from a railing onto the fire alarm, pulling the lever and then falling off.  Apparently nobody knew what caused the fire alarm to go off last summer until someone finally reviewed the surveillance footage.  The entire building had to be evacuated because of the rodent.

Sunday was one such day, when NBC Washington managed to acquire security footage of a moment that is sure to go down as legendary in rodent history - the footage of a rascally rat pulling a fire alarm that forced the evacuation of a whole building in Washington D.C..
