15YO charged in Good Samaritan killing, 3 others likely involved

Harris County Sheriff's deputies have one juvenile charged with involvement with the gunning down of a good Samaritan who stopped a robbery in north Houston this past Friday night.

Moyses Arreguin ran out of his house with a baseball bat when he saw his teenaged neighbor being held up by three men.

Arreguin's brother tells our TV partner KPRC Channel-2 a Go Fund Me page has been set up for 29-year old Moyses' wife and two daughters.

"The kid is screaming at them saying, 'No you're not going to take my stuff', and my brother hears it from over there and he grabs a baseball bat, and he sees they have guns, and he hits the first guy.  And the second guy just shoots him in the back... That's just the type of person he is; he gets out of his way to help other people. And now that I know that he died a hero and helped a kid's life, I'm proud of him."

A second juvenile will likely also be charged today in the case. Two more men are wanted in the case. Authorities believe four total were involved.
