Houston's Morning News took a different turn today as …. under the urging of our social media gurus….I Facebook lived (is there such a verb?) our entire 3 hour show.
What a trip that!
Let’s just say all those years on tv didn’t prepare me at all for video radio with all its moving parts and the biggest glitch….me….at the controls.
But, boy, was it interactive. I was seeing check-ins from friends of long ago, former tv colleagues and former watchers and all sort of new listeners and then the shout from my newest great nephew…2 month old Harrison….and his mom Hailey. I was getting a bit giddy from it all. I’m back to earth now though….See, I started with the screen sideways and unviewable, then made everybody seasick as I tried to show the guys and then….Rachel Estrada tells me I was live-streaming on my personal FB page….not KTRH. oops. We’ll fix that next week.
