A church in Northeast Houston is getting help in its efforts to rebuild after Harvey. At Greater Emmanuel Church of God in Christ, the church's sanctuary, day care, and immunization clinic were flooded. Now volunteers with All Hands and Hearts are pitching in.
The organization brings in volunteers to help with projects worldwide. Lately it's staffing operations in Peru, Nepal, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Texas. Pastor John Banks says his congregation may be back in the building within 30 days, thanks to the volunteers.
