Once again, Mattress Mack of Gallery Furniture is stepping up to help the Houston community.
He’s doing so with Gallery Furniture's Toy Drive later today. Mack tells KTRH when he made the call for volunteers, you stepped up, which makes him happy.
“They’re jumping in and we’ll have a lot of volunteers here,” Mack said.
The toy drive will take place today from12-6pm at the Gallery Furniture stores on North Freeway and in Richmond. Mack says this all about helping those who need it after Hurricane Harvey.
“We are looking forward to it. We are all isolated on our cell phones. This will be a great opportunity for unity, and a great opportunity for people to come out and make new friends,” Mack explained.
Gallery Furniture has teamed up with METRO to provide free shuttle service to and from the North Freeway store starting at 11:30 this morning. Use the Park and Ride at Veterans Memorial Drive.
