County residents with medical supply, medication and shelter needs can call 409-938-7221.
The phone bank operates from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
GCHD offers callers the most up-to-date information possible about open pharmacies and shelters. The phone bank will also serve as a point of information gathering about locations in need of medical supplies and medications.
The phone bank is not coordinating rescues and is not a substitute for calling 911 during life-threatening emergencies.
