Suspect Who Shot 2 San Antonio Police Officers Killed Himself

A report from the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office indicates the 34-year-old man who shot two San Antonio police officers Thursday killed himself.  Police say Andrew Bice and an accomplice were trying to steal items from cars when the two officers approached.

Officer Miguel Moreno was shot in the face and he died from his wounds Friday morning.  His partner was injured, but is expected to survive.  Bice reportedly had several convictions on his criminal record for crimes like assault causing bodily injury to a family member, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.  The autopsy showed Bice died of a gunshot wound to the head.
