Texas ranks No. 20 nationally in the 2017 “Best & Worst State Economies” list.
The annual state-by-state rankings on economic performance are by WalletHub, the personal-finance website.
The data, examining 27 factors, ranges from GDP growth to startup activity to share of jobs in high-tech industries.
Within those factors, Texas ranks No. 1 nationally in exports per capita. It’s also No. 6 in business startup activity.
