If you’re a veteran looking for work, or you know one that is looking for a job, there’s a job fair at Minute Maid Park later today.
Rob Arndt with Recruit Military told KTRH News there are a lot of opportunities for veterans at these fairs.
“We have 74 exhibitors looking to connect with military talent, and we are expecting over 300 veterans to come through the door looking for new employment opportunities,” Arndt said.
And these job fairs have proven very successful in the past.
“For each event that we do we are averaging about 350 veterans that come through the door. We are averaging about 140 jobs filled on the spot as well,” he said.
The job fair runs from 11am to 3pm, and registration is free.
