Man Shares Wedding Photo, People Look At Wife & Refuse To Believe It's Real

Sean Stephenson has osteogenesis imperfecta, a genetic bone disorder that left his growth stunted at just 2’8. When he was born, nearly every bone in his body was broken. Doctors didn’t think he’d survive his first night. By the time he was 18, he had already suffered over 200 fractures.

Sean needed constant care and supervision, not to mention the fact that strangers constantly stared or spewed nasty comments at him and his family. He constantly battled with his body and self-image. But in 1988, everything changed.

At 9 years old, he fractured his leg once again and fell into a state of panic. This was the life-changing moment in which Sean’s mother asked him if his condition was going to be a gift or a burden. Something clicked, and he realized it’s not about what you have but what you do with what you have.

Since then, Sean has gone on to not only survive his disorder, but also become a respected and highly sought-after motivational speaker.

But it’s perhaps his marriage that has made the most waves. In 2012, Sean married his girlfriend, Mindie, who is “normal-sized,” and their wedding photos took the internet by storm. Because of their obvious physical differences, Mindie began receiving unwelcome questions and hateful comments regarding her relationship — and even sex life — with Sean.

The happy couple faced bullying and hate mail; many people assume Mindie cheats on Sean or is only with him for his money. But you’re about to see that Sean and Mindie share an incredible bond.

This story proves love truly knows no bounds. If you agree, please SHARE Sean’s story with your friends on Facebook!
