Two men have been arrested, after Harris County Sheriff Deputies say, they repeatedly raped a 12-year-old girl. Two women were also involved were arrested charged with felony injury to a child for aiding the men in their violent crimes.
Felix Diaz, 49, from Honduras and Jose Rivera, 45, from El Salvador, are accused of raping the minor after illegally smuggling her into the country.
Rivera was taken into custody, and Diaz was detained by ice for immigration violations.
Brenda Garcia, 38, and Tania Garcia, 37, were both arrested and charged with felony injury to a child, unlawful restraint, and invasive visual recording.
“The details of this investigation are deeply disturbing and represent some of the most evil criminal behavior in our society. While the child is now safe, our mission is far from over. We will continue to work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to uncover all details of this investigation and ensure that justice is served.” Montgomery County Sheriff Wesley Doolittle said.
Both men are behind bars while the investigation continues.
