While the radical left is celebrating Zohran Mamdani's win in the NYC mayoral race, others are also calling it a loss. As in the end of the Democrat party. At least as we know it.
"If you look at all the people from the Democrat party, the party itself has become pretty much dominated by socialist philosophy at this stage of the game" said political writer Steve McCann.
But even though their crazy ideas have been exposed, it's still no match for TDS, and many are wondering how long it will be before the radicals get control of more than just cities?
"It's going to be very difficult to take over cities and states" McCann told KTRH, "They might succeed in one or two, but that's also going to be an abject lesson to the state's and the rest of the country as well. The only thing they will eventually accomplish is the demise of the party itself."
And so even though the progressive left has seized control of the Democrat party, he says they will not prevail, but will ultimately fail.
"Socialism itself is really like a parasite" noted McCann, "The only way it survives is to attach itself to capitalism, and with most parasites it eventually kills the host."
Which is already starting to happen.
