Police in West University Place are looking for a man who opened Home Depot credit card accounts in other peoples' names. The suspect has been identified as John Carl Sutterley. Starting in July, Sutterley reportedly opened 27 accounts at Home Depot using the names, birthdates, and Social Security numbers of other people. He reportedly ran up 35-thousand-dollars in charges on the bogus cards. Investigators say Sutterley got out of jail in February of this year after doing time for similar crimes.
