A study by a marketing research firm ranks Texas 15th in the nation for observing social distancing in the pandemic.
TOP Data, a branch of TOP Agency, analyzed mobility data to compare the latest number of interactions per person to the average number of interactions on the same day last year.
TOP Data says the average Texan had four-point-34 interactions on August 2nd this year, down from more than nine pre-pandemic a year earlier. That's good enough for 15th place among the 50 states.
The study says California tops the list ahead of Nevada. The three worst states are Alabama and the two Dakotas.
