You may be planning on getting some gardening in this weekend, but here's another warning about those wacky requested seeds that are showing up in people's mailboxes.
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller is warning Texans not to plant those seeds coming from China. Hundreds of people nationwide, including Texas residents, have received unsolicited packages from China containing bags of seeds.
Miller and others suggest they could be an invasive species, so he's warning folks not to plant them but to send them in for testing. If you received unsolicited seed packets in the mail, you should keep them in their original packaging and report it to the USDA. Contact them using this email address" SITC.Mail@aphis.usda.gov.
