Houston's Patrick Dougherty, bartender from The Pass and Provisions, suggests a Cranberry Fizz or an H Town sunrise, lots of fruit and no tequila. Appearing on our TV partner Channel 2 last year, he offered recipes, listed below.
It's all about Dry January, a trend where many give up booze to recoup from the holidays.
It started with the Brits in 2013, jumped the pond, and now one in five American say they'll go without for a month.
You can get free beer for an entire month. Heineken is making it happen, but with a twist. It's from Heinekin and has no alcohol and comes in at 69 calories.
The Heineken packs include 31 cans for each day of the month.
They'll be free in select cities.
