Gunfire broke out early Sunday (11-24-2019) morning at a house party in Northwest Houston. It was a birthday party for a 24-year old, but there were also several teens on sight. Our TV partner Channel 2 (KPRC-TV) spoke with a witness who saw the fight begin. "They were trying to hit a girl. Another man saw them hurt her and tried to get them to stop hitting her. He didn't know there would be gun shots involved, so he stepped in to stop it and took a bullet for the girl."
The police did make one arrest, it was to the homeowner who was charged with making alcohol accessible to minors. Police are still looking for the shooter and the investigation is ongoing.
