United Airlines is expanding their Houston training facility for flight attendants.
All of the 26,000 flight attendants employed by the airline are required to complete six weeks of training in Houston.
This past week the company announced a $20 million expansion that will add additional space for classrooms, training, storage, and, eventually, a swimming pool where flight attendants can experience water landings and practice the protocols.
United Airlines is also investing in a $326 million upgrade of their baggage system at Bush Intercontinental.
