As the average retirement age slowly creeps up in the United States, many Americans are faced with the harsh reality that they will be working later in life than originally planned.
To identify where our nation's senior population is most engaged in the workforce, Provision Living analyzed US Census Bureau data for cities with populations over 200,000.
The study found that Houston, Texas has one of the largest senior populations still actively working.
Houston: 12th biggest 65+ workforce (22.0% of its 228,460 seniors still working)
