Two brothers who run a Taekwondo studio in Sugar Land are being sued for sexual misconduct.
Two female athletes filed separate federal lawsuits on Wednesday against coaches Steven Lopez and his brother Jean Lopez. The lawsuits were filed in Colorado, home of the U.S. Olympic Training Facility.
Jean Lopez was banned from the sport earlier this month because of claims of sexual misconduct. The lawsuits refer to incidents that reportedly happened between ten and 15 years ago, when the female athletes were in their teens.
The brothers are both are asking for a jury trial.
