It seemed appropriate on April Fool’s Day to confirm that the BigFoot hunter hoaxster was exactly that….a hoaxster.
Rick Dyer spoke with Matt Patrick in February, claiming his Bigfoot carcass was in taxidermy, but he was about ready for his traveling road show of the body he claimed to have found of the mythic creature.
Now Dyer admits online….it was just a lie. And it’s not the first time. His first attempt at touring display….the Bigfoot corpse proved to be a rubber suit.
But his road show reportedly took in almost 60-thousand dollars from people who wanted a look-see. Whoopsie. Any surprise that Houston’s Morning News tried to reach Dyer, but he’s apparently as elusive now as the creature he claims to track.
