A British company has unveiled this new  glow in the dark ice cream - said to be the first of its kind in the world. The  fluorescent treat was created using synthesised jellyfish luminescence. It  reacts with the eater's tongue's neutral pH - lighting up when it is licked to  emit an eerie green glow.

It is the brainchild of award-winning ice cream  entrepreneur Charlie Harry Francis. Charlie, the founder of experimental ice  cream company Lick Me I'm Delicious, said: "It's probably the most expensive ice  cream I've ever made; jellyfish luminescence is four times more expensive than  gold. "It tastes pretty good though and I don't seem to be glowing anywhere." He  says each scoop costs around $225(Picture by: Splash/Lick Me I'm Delicious)
