While all the talk about 3D movies has dominated the movie-going experience in recent years, theaters are experimenting with 270-degree movie screens.

A South Korean cinema chain has developed movie viewing that literally surrounds you with the film by putting the movie on three separate "screens" that wrap around the theater.

While filming such a movie is a hassle because directors have to point cameras in three different directions, the experience of having the action surrounding you as you sit in a seat is pretty cool – and might end up being the future of cinema.
