Police have charged a Sugar Land couple with multiple counts of injury to a child.
Aide Estrella and Jorge Estrella are the step-parents of a 9-year-old boy. The boy was found at a neighbors home on Nov. 23 after he escaped the Estrella's home through a second story window.
According to police the boy says he was locked in a closet, burned, beaten, shocked with a taser, and forced to drink his own urine. The boy says the abuse had been going on for around a year.
When the boy escaped to the neighbors, the neighbor says his eyes were swollen shut and she could see the bruises and burns on his body.
Aide Estrella is currently being held in Fort Bend County Jail on $190,000 bond. Jorge Estrella bonded out of jail back in January.
The boy is now living in foster care.
