You might celebrate Halloween by watching a whole bunch of scary movies, but you don’t have to turn on your television to be scared.

All you have to do is open up your mail.

That's because of all the credit card offers you get. Card Hub has put together their list of the worst credit cards of 2013. So what if you're trying to rebuild your credit?

John Kiernan of Card Hub tells KTRH, “The worst card in that category would be the First Premier Bank Gold Card. It charges a 36% interest rate as well as a $95 processing fee before you even get your card.”

And if you are into cards that offer rewards, Kiernan says the Visa Black card isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, either.

“It has a $495 annual fee,” Kiernan stated.

Gail Cunningham of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling tells KTRH that you shouldn’t go into these things with your eyes closed.

“People need to do their homework. Read the fine print. Get the card that’s right for you,” Cunningham said.

Cunningham says you should know exactly what you can handle before signing up for these kinds of credit cards.

“Know yourself. If you manage your finances responsible, you probably have good credit and the door is wide open for you,” Cunningham explained.
