The shuttle display at Space Center Houston is slowly coming together.  Officials are planning a "Name the Shuttle Contest" for the mockup that will sit on top of the specially-designed 747 used to transport the shuttle:

"In the end, what we end up with is one of biggest, and best, and iconic attractions in Texas."

Richard Allen at Space Center Houston" tells our TV partner Local-2 the contest will kick off on July 4th.

"It's unbelievable; anybody you talk to and tell them about it and show them a picture of what it looks like, they just get unbelievably crazy about it."

Assembly on the 12-million dollar display will start in the fall, when the 747 currently parked at Ellington Field is relocated to its permanent home.
