Major college football is a cut-throat business and some coaches are now recruiting junior high school players. But experts say that may not be good for those kids.

Sportstalk 790 host N.D. Kalu starred in the NFL and he says it wouldn't have helped him at age 13.

"When you're 13, 14 and you're being told you're the greatest player you can't help but begin to see yourself in a different light that you shouldn't because you're gonna be knocked down to reality."
