Big changes are on the way for your trip through security at Houston’s Hobby Airport, but you won't notice the work until the overall project is finished.  Houston Airport System Chief Operating Officer Lance Lyttle says the work is on pace to be completed at the end of 2015.

“Once the garage starts going up,” Lyttle says, “once the roadway reconstruction starts, that's when you'll see changes taking place, but immediately you won't see any changes at the security checkpoint.”

The 130-million dollar project includes four components.

“The new international terminal is one component,” he says, “the new parking garage, the new satellite central utility plant and, of course, we're going to be re-doing the roadway.”
