Five electrical workers were critically injured in an electrical flash in downtown Houston.

The five CenterPoint workers were working in an electrical vault just outside of the Southwestern Bell building when for some reason there was an electrical flash that cut power to the building.

HFD says the five workers were taken to Memorial-Hermann, one was burned from the neck down.  The paramedics at the scene said the five workers were in critical condition.  The workers were reportedly hit with 480 volts of electricity.
