Politicians in Washington might have managed to end the shutdown and avoid hitting the debt ceiling, but that doesn’t mean you are going to benefit from it. And some analysts already say the economy has already suffered because of the drama from the last few weeks.

Even though a deal finally got done, Texas Senator Ted Cruz says it's not a good deal for you.

“This is a lousy deal for the Americans people. This is a sadly a classic instance of the Washington establishment selling the American people down the river,” Cruz said.

And ultimately, Cruz didn’t get what he wanted in terms of the Affordable Care Act.

“The deal that has been cut provides no relief to the millions of Americans who are hurting because of Obamacare,” Cruz stated.

Cruz didn't win the Obamacare battle, and financial analyst Richard Rosso says the economy is already suffering because we got so close to defaulting for the first time in history.

“We’re already facing economic drag due to this problem. I’ve already seen confidence numbers starting to fall off a cliff,” Rosso told KTRH. “People are not spending as much. Companies aren’t as well. There is an economic drag to this situation.”

And if the country were applying for a loan they might have a tough time getting one. The U.S. estimated credit score is between 630 and 680. The average American's credit score? 690.
