Former Astros Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell and Roger Clemens are again on the ballot for Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame next year.

Brian McTaggart at believes this could be Biggio's year.

“I think he came close enough last year with 68-percent, I can definitely see him getting the 75-percent needed to get in,” McTaggart tells KTRH News.

Bagwell however, may have to sit out a few more years.

“A lot of people are not going to vote for Bagwell because he's a power hitter in the age where a lot of hitters were tied to performance enhancing drugs, although there was never a 'smoking gun' with Bagwell,” he says.

And despite Clemens' stellar career, accusations of performance enhancing drugs still haunt him as well.

“I think the voters took a stance last year with some of the stuff Clemens has been linked to and said 'hey, we're not going to put you in the Hall of Fame, at least not yet,'” says McTaggart.

Among the newcomers in 2014 -- Greg Maddux, Tom Glavin, Eric Gagne and Frank Thomas.

The new class will be announced in January.
