Legendary rockers Queen and Adam Lambert are once again joining forces for a North American summer tour!
The tour came about after Queen and Lambert's incredible and much talked about performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last year sparked up a conversation between Adam, Brian May, and Roger Taylor.
"He's the most incredible frontman," Taylor said of Lambert in a press conference Thursday morning, adding that Queen + Adam Lambert's performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival "reminded us how great we got on together... the natural progression was to make a tour."
May said, "We are very excited. This is a combination we believe works very well," adding that Lambert is "never an imitator; he finds his own way with the songs."
"Vegas really felt like it gelled even more," Lambert said; their performance there was their first together in the U.S. after a short tour of Europe. "It was really magical in Vegas."

The 19-date trek kicks off in June, as the guys travel to Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, New York, and more, wrapping up in Washington, DC at the Merriweather Post Pavilion - which is their only outdoor summer show.
Brian May says of the tour, "Let's ROCK those beautiful arenas JUST ONE MORE TIME!"
Lambert adds, "I'm completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon. The thought of sharing the stage for a full set in North America is so beautifully surreal. I'm honored to be able to pay my respects to Freddie's memory; he's a personal hero of mine, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know this tour will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger and the rest of the band, I feel like magic will be on display."
Tickets for the tour go on sale beginning March 14th through the Live Nation mobile app and LiveNation.com. American Express Card Members will have access to tickets before the general public, starting March 10th at 10 a.m. local time.
